WE have ten confirmed teams for the 2014/15 season welcoming back Jaxx Q Club Belper, plus a second team from the Edgefold Club and for the first time Alfreton Palmer Morewood.
This means the League season will be back to home and away once each, meaning 18 matches with the top eight contesting the end of season Jaeger Trophy Champion of Champions play offs.
The Captains Cup team event will be as per usual decided on aggregate basis as will the Jimmy Harper Plate which will be for teams losing in the first and second rounds.
The Bob McCartin Six Red Team Cup gets the season underway and goes back to a group format with the qualifying teams moving into the quarter finals.

Plus the team with the best points per game ratio out of the non-automatic qualifiers will go through to make up the last eight.
The pair with the highest recorded scotch doubles break will win the Presidents Cup though this will also include the Christmas Shootout Night (Monday December 22nd, 7.30pm).

Note if any players above do not wish to play, treat that fixture as a bye and move to the next round as we didn't get all the required info on some of the sheets and the time scale is short, cheers.
All others teams have indicated they are likely to be nominating a player for the first round proper except Matlock Club who have expressed they would like to conduct their own in house draw to be played off likewise to the above.
Also any of the teams above may nominate a player if they do not wish to hold an in house event.
Don't forget all new players and those returning after a few years hiatus will be on a provisional handicap rating for up to the first 4-5 games when we will look at it again and make any necessary alterations.
